Terms of Service — OvO Hosting

By registering for or using OvO's services, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree to the terms below, do not use the service.

OvO: Best-Effort Service

OvO is a subscription-based platform providing VPS (Virtual Private Server) and dedicated resources to its users ("the Service"). OvO is developed and managed by individual. Despite this commitment, OvO does not guarantee any specific level of service, uptime, or performance, regardless of payment. By subscribing, you are joining a community that focuses on delivering the best service possible through collective effort.

Data Responsibility

You are solely responsible for backing up the data you store on OvO. OvO does not retain backups of your server by default to mitigate the risk of data loss. In the event of a hardware failure or another unforeseen issue, your data may not be recoverable. However, OvO follows a standard disk replacement process, and to date, there have been no major data loss incidents.

Recurring Payments

OvO operates on a recurring payment model. By ordering a server, you agree to a subscription that remains active for the server's lifetime. Payments are accepted exclusively via cryptocurrency. After placing an order, a unique BTC address will be generated and displayed in your dashboard, and an invoice will be emailed to you. You have a whopping three days to complete the payment. Once the payment is confirmed, your server will be provisioned within 15 minutes. If payment is not completed within three days, the order will be canceled automatically. For renewals, an invoice will be emailed three days before the due date. Grace period, of three days, is available after the due date if payment is missed. If payment is not received during this time, the server will be terminated and permanently deleted.

Nota bene; You will receive an invoice, and a new BTC address will be generated in your dashboard three days before the due date. You will be notified before each renewal. If payment is not completed within this period, the service will be terminated.

Termination of Service

OvO reserves the right to terminate your access to individual servers or the entire Service at any time. Reasons for termination include but are not limited to:

Violating OvO's Acceptable Usage Policy (see below)
Payment disputes or chargebacks
Excessive resource usage impacting other users (Resource Hogging)
Nonpayment resulting in server expiration
Exceeding bandwidth limits without resolution

Acceptable Usage Policy (only VPS)

OvO offers flexibility in how you use your server, but the following activities are strictly prohibited:

Sending outbound spam emails or any activity that violates anti-spam organizations such as Spamhaus
Engaging in illegal activities
Conducting unauthorized port scanning, banner scanning, or aggressive web crawling

Resource Usage (only VPS)

You are free to utilize the resources of your server as needed. However, if your resource consumption negatively impacts other users or significantly increases OvO's operational costs, the service may be terminated. Before any action is taken, OvO will attempt to resolve the issue with you through reasonable means.
